February GIVEAWAY

What comes to mind when you think of Valentine's Day?
Jewelry.
Love sentiments.
Chocolate.
That is what I think of.
(Not that that is necessarily what I want or get, but that is what comes to mind)
So that is what I decided to give away for the month of February (sort of).

The winner will receive a pretty light pink ring holder (my wedding ring not included), an adorable arrow plate, perfect for holding your favorite little accessories, and a pack of blank writing cards with two cute water color designs, so you can write love letters to your favorite people.  Not pictured, but definitely included in this giveaway, CHOCOLATE.  I dare not keep chocolate in my house for an entire month cause I'd eat it long before the month was over, but you can bet your buns that it's part of the package!

OK, so wanna a chance to win?  All you have to do is leave a comment telling me about your favorite Valentine's Day gift, given or received.
Winner will be announced February 28th.

Just know that I have pretty tiny fingers, so I assume that most people's rings will fit on this ring holder better than mine.

Aren't those little arrows the cutest?  This little plate will add a nice little flare to your nightstand, dresser, or dressing table (Wherever you keep your jewels!)

Help me spread the love this February by giving to you!

  1. Hi Heather, I again thank you for this opportunity. My favorite Valentine's gift was when I was probably 6 or 7. I just came home from school and found that my mom baked me and my sister's each a huge chocolate chip heart shaped cookie. She outlined it with red frosting and wrote our names on ours. I remember thinking is this whole thing mine and I don't have to share? I remember feeling so loved that mom would make us each one. It was as huge as my head.

    1. How sweet Hillary! AND GUESS WHAT!? It's something you can now do for your kids! (If you don't already) Isn't it funny the things we remember and mean so much. You should tell your mom how much that cookie meant to you- she may not even realize how much it touched you!!

  2. Cool gifts for Valentines Day!! I think it is so sweet of you to do this. I have to say that Tony kept buying me roses for Valentine's day for the 1st several years. He always gives me a beautiful love card which always tells me just how he feels about me.... It's nice to be loved!!

  3. Heather thank you for putting this together.
I've only been blessed to have a special someone once in my life during Valentine's Day, and that was last year.
My dear husband wanted to support the YM in the ward and bought me chocolate covered strawberries. He'd forgotten I'm allergic to strawberries, but it turned out well. Another sister left hers in the bathroom and sadly someone stole them. So I was able to give her s box of mine. My husband enjoyed his mistake too by devouring the other box :)

  4. Oh Heather you are just too much. Love all these cute items. My favorite valentines gift was 2 years ago. It blogged about it then http://www.sweetserendipitydesign.blogspot.com/2013/02/valentines-day-2013.html It's fun to read it again. Now on to what to get this year that has some meaning and doesn't break the bank. Hmmm!! ;)

  5. When my now-husband and I were dating, he made me a cake and a couple dozen heart shaped sugar cookies. On the cake he wrote "I love you because you're" and on the cookies things like "funny" "beautiful" "smart" etc He's not normally the lovey dovey type so I thought it was cute! We were broke college kids at the time so we just made dinner and watched a movie. Still one of my favorite Valentine's Days ever!

    1. That is very cute Malissa (and a lot of work)! It's nice when our men- especially the non lovey dovey ones- can surprise us! Maybe it's your turn to do the same thing for him;-) And maybe it will show him how much it meant to you when he did it all those years ago (not that it was THAT LONG- we're not that old!;-)

One Valentine's Day my sweetheart gave me a dozen roses and one petal on each rose was stamped or engraved with gold lettering that said "I Love You". Don't know exactly what process the flower shop used to stamp each rose but I thought it was a very unique Valentine's bouquet. I still have a little container with all the dried rose petals from that bouquet. I Iguess I'm sentimental.

  7. Thank you for this opportunity! Very cute items! My favorite Valentines day would have to be 12 years ago when my boyfriend now husband sent me a dozen yellow Roses, a cute cozy bear ( which is till on my bed lol) and a T-shirt he made for me. I believe it had pink butterflies on it. It was special because we were in a long distance relationship at the time. It was hard to see all the love birds on campus! The gifts made me smile and know he loved me even though we lived across the country. Absolutely worth it in the end.

My favorite gift was probably the first valentine gift Jeff gave me, a basket of goodies with a certificate for a mani and pedi. I had never had one before that! Such a good man :)

  9. My best valentine's gift is flowers. I love them. Fresh flowers in bright colors always make my heart melt. I love Valentine's Day now with my little family. We get heart shaped pizza and do candles and Martinellis. They are love to me.

  10. Best Valentine's present was last year, when the husband actually got a babysitter, picked a restaurant, and then took me to a museum. I loved that he planned it all!
